The
Geometrist
The Geometrist searches for the hidden structures beneath chaos, observing angles, rhythms, and repetitions where others see disorder. They move with quiet precision, tracing lines and seeking alignment. Their layered silhouette echoes the mapping of space; fragments reconnecting, dimensions folding, structure holding shape against collapse.
Process:
The Geometrist’s garment was constructed entirely from deadstock denim. I cut the fabric into narrow strips and hand-frayed each one individually to create a dense, fringe-like texture. These strips were sewn together into a large textile surface, which was later shaped and layered to build volume and movement.
The mask was assembled from wider denim pieces, stitched together at the top to form a structured sculptural shape. The repetition of strips and seams reinforces the character’s geometric logic.
