A project about identity, transformation, displacement and belonging.
Citizens of the Galaxy began as a reflection on identity, transformation, and the infinite ways of being human. A way of seeing ourselves from the outside, as if through the eyes of a visitor. The project was born from my own process of arrival: entering a new country, learning a new language, adapting to a new rhythm, and navigating the sense of foreignness that followed.
Each character represents a part of me, learning to adapt, to belong, to understand reality from a place of displacement. It is a journey of non-symbolic, anti-national figures who detach from the common narrative and explore their surroundings blindly. In that moment of estrangement, they rediscover their own body. Their only point of connection with the outside world.
